Solo

Nichlas Overgaard is an experienced soloist, adept at performing in a variety of settings, from intimate events such as weddings, funerals, and house concerts to larger concerts on stage and in concert halls throughout Denmark. His extensive repertoire spans from jazzy interpretations of popular songs to classical music, covering periods from the early Renaissance to contemporary works. Nichlas is available for performances lasting several hours, with or without amplification, and is willing to accommodate specific musical requests.

Nichlas and Anna Lohmann Hesselhøj form a distinguished flute/guitar duo. Their repertoire encompasses Romanticism, contemporary tonal music and tango by composers such as Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Andy Scott, and Astor Piazzolla, offering a soothing and pleasant auditory experience. They have performed together in churches, concert halls, and cafés throughout Copenhagen. Nichlas and Ronnie Aroeti form a soprano/guitar duo with a diverse repertoire that includes cultivated folk music from around the world, including Spain, Bulgaria, Argentina, and Israel. They also perform renowned classical pieces arranged for guitar, such as Franz Schubert’s "Gretchen am Spinnrade" and Leo Delibes’ "Les Filles de Cadix." Their performances are designed to engage the audience through a both auditory and visual experience. Together they have performed in various churches and concert halls across Denmark. Nichlas and Ronnie can be booked for performances of up to an hour, offering a joyful and emotionally moving experience.

Nichlas and Arjun Ganguly form a cello/guitar duo, presenting a broad and virtuosic repertoire spanning various periods of classical music. Their performances encompass early Romanticism, tango, jazz, and experimental contemporary music, all delivered either with or without amplification, making them suitable for a wide range of venues. Nichlas and Arjun are available for bookings of up to an hour, delivering a dynamic and virtuosic performance that provides a rich and diverse musical experience.

Nichlas and Magnus Bille Fought Kristensen form a baritone/guitar duo. Their repertoire includes folkish music and classical works by composers such as John Dowland and Franz Schubert, as well as Danish songs by Carl Nielsen and Rued Langgaard. They have performed together in various churches and at private events throughout Copenhagen. Nichlas and Magnus are available for bookings of up to an hour, offering a mix of Danish repertoire or a joyful and beautiful selection featuring Schubert and Dowland.

Baritone & Guitar

As a chamber musician Nichlas has developed extensive experience arranging various songs, pieces, and orchestral works for different constellations in the digital music notation program, Sibelius. This involves instrumentation from piano to guitar, arranging basso continuo and chords into sheet music with note/tablature notation, transcribing renaissance lute tablature, transposing songs to suit voice type, arranging folk songs, and transcribing normal sheet music note-notation to tablature. He has arranged more than 100 songs for voice and guitar, various arrangements of famous pop songs for guitar, dozens of arrangements of pieces for guitar and orchestral instruments and much more. Some of his bigger projects consists of all of Georg Friedrich Händel’s water music for guitar, Arturo Márquez Danzon no. 2 for guitar ensemble and Concerto del Sur by Manuel Ponce for guitar trio.
